We, the Morrison Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, are a group of skilled professionals that are dedicated to serving the area of Morrison, Tennessee. We serve our residents and those who travel through our community by providing fire suppression, rescue operations, medical assistance, and other emergency life saving measures to those that may fall victim to unfortunate events.
Having come from a small and humble beginning in 1950, the Morrison Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department has grown in more areas than just age. We have grown, and will continue to grow, not only in quantities of firefighters and equipment but also in quality by endeavoring to acquire the necessary trainings, skills, knowledge, equipment, and tools of the trade in order to provide a more perfect service to those that are in need.
All departments and agencies in the emergency service fields should hold themselves to standards that are considerably higher to the ones of the average person due to the most precious thing in the world being at stake, that being life itself. The Morrison Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department is no different. Honesty, integrity, respect, hard work, compassion, grit, determination, pursuit of excellence, and the unwavering resolve in constantly risking our lives to save others only scratches the surface of the values and principles that makes up the Morrison Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.
